  • While my husband was Ill the A/C went out. This was on a Thursday afternoon with some pretty high temp. H called around and no one could get there until the next Tuesday. When he called Performance Heating and Air he talked to the owner. The owner had a repair person on site within two hours and after a quick diagnosis and a short trip back to the warehouse to get the needed part all was running. The technician was great, and everything was back to normal in about three hours from our initial phone class. The price was reasonable and they did a good job. We would definitely use them again.

  • June 8, 2015 it was over 103 Degrees in the Fairfield, CA area, and our Central AC decided to die on us. We were sweating buckets, and it was after 5pm when I desperately called every company in the area. The ONLY company that was willing to come out after hours was Performance Heating and Air Conditioning. Curtis, who is the owner, answered his cell phone right away, and didn't turn my call down like the other's did. He was extremely busy on another call in Vacaville, but assured me that he would make his way down to my area in Fairfield. He arrived at approximately 8 PM, and even though he was done by about 8:45, he had another call to do to. He was like Superman to me! I was lucky to have found him on Yelp. I wish this company was listed under homeadvisor.com, because that's the first place I thought of looking. He arrived, accessed the situation, and replaced the non functional AC Capacitor with in minutes. He also went out of his way to make sure that the unit's heating unit and ventilation flow was working correctly (as well as the AC). He was friendly, professional, and very honest. He didn't take advantage of us financially, which he could have easily have done on the hottest day of the year thus far. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs HVAC Service. Thank Goodness For Matt and Performance Heating And Air Conditioning!!!!!

  • Great service during the one of the hottest days of the year. Our air conditioner broke during our first 103 F day of the summer. I called at 9:30 am the next day and the system was fixed and running by 1:00 pm. Thanks Performance.

  • Overall, a great experience (4.75/5.0). I did my homework before going with Performance...they also came recommended from a couple neighbors and the price was very competitively priced. You might get a little more 'bling' from Bell Brothers or some other big names, but you are definitely paying for that. Curtis (sales) listened to my needs and proposed the perfect system to replace my vintage unit from 1989. Bryant is definitely the preferred brand to go with and Curtis went beyond sizing the unit correctly... he made sure that I was putting in the right value system for my current and future needs. We opted for the Bryant High Efficiency 96%, 2 Stage, Evolution Furnace with Variable speed blower, a High Efficiency A/C Bryant 16 SEER Evolution Air Conditioner, and the new Energy Star Digital programmable Evolution with WiFi Thermostat/controller (fun factor). Karen did a great job in the office of getting things scheduled. She welcomes you ping'ing her regularly to make sure you know where you are in the process (estimating, installation, permitting, etc.). Kyle and another crew member were prompt, professional, and did a great job on the installation and cleanup. If I recall, the new thermostat had a couple of programming features that he wasn't familiar with at the time, but I am sure that he'll be on top of those features by the time you go with the same new Evolution Thermostat/controller. After doing your homework, definitely consider calling Performance Heating and Air.

  • I had the "no surprise guys" out to service my AC & heater at the end of the summer and was surprised when I turned on my heater for the first time and it didn't work. I called another HVAC company who came out and said I needed a blah blah blah and it would be over $750. I called Performance Heating & Air (who is fabulous) and they said she could have someone out the same day and have a look. Performance came out and in 15 minutes told me what the problem was (not what I was told previously), had the part on his truck and had my heater working in 1/2 hour for less than 1/3rd of what the other guy told me. Heater is working great and I'm warm and happy. They are honest and quick, and even have a camera to look inside the unit and tell you what shape it's in. No need to look any further these guys are great!

  • After getting home from work close to 5pm I found my house was 52 degrees. I rushed to the phone to call the local Heating company. While they answered the phone the guy told me that they are getting ready to close and I needed to call back in the morning. I did some research online and found Performance with some great reviews on Yelp. By the time I called. It was close to 6pm. I figured maybe I could leave a voicemail and they would return my call the next day. Not the case, a gal answered the phone, willing to help me. She said that she was sure she could get someone to our house in Placerville the next day. And that she did. The technician showed up ahead of schedule and clearly cared about resolving my no heat problem. In less than 45 minutes, my heater was up and running. Needless to say I was impressed. I have never posted on Yelp but decided to make sure others know the quality and care this company offers. Don't waste your time calling anyone else, call Performance.

  • Great, Fantastic , Super what more can I say Not going to go into the home warranty nite mare but if not for that we wouldn't have met Curtis and Correen, they were doing a home inspection on a home next door to us and we started talking to them and they gave us some really good information about our furnace and when we were ready we called them to install a new unit . Since our furnace wasn't working at all and it was freezing Curtis got a new unit ordered and was installed the following week , Correen scheduled an 8am install and Durell was there early, in this day and age that never happens. They had the old unit out and the new unit in , in no time at all and my house was warm before they left. Curtis and Durell no their stuff and Correen keeps the whole show running smoothly. You go girl Loved all those evening emails about needed measurements , that's what you call above and beyond . You see all the commercials on TV about heating and air companies ,(Like Gilmore) and who do you think pays for those adds you do when you pay there bill for an outrageous price on a new unit. When they say shop local that's the reason. We had a great install from a great Company. Thanks Performance Heating & Air...

A friendly woman answered the phone and understood my concern about my family being cold. She scheduled an appointment for the very next morning. The tech that showed up was thorough and had it running in no time. The bill- as to be expected. I'm happy, my family is warm. Thank you to this company.
